To kick start our Something Blue wedding blogs I bring you a Destination Wedding brimming over with yummy  rustic details and one of the cutest wedding venues I have ever seen.  Chloe is a elementary teacher and details is in her DNA as you will see. The Homestead at Wilshire Ranch is nestle up in the San Bernadino Mountains in California and where this quaint wedding took place.  Detail after sweet rustic detail was at every turn and in every nook and cranny.  I could not even fit them all in this story.

This sweet couple met  on a school bus and a friendship was formed.  But friendship was as far as it would go until many years later.  In a world of social media they were friends on Facebook.  Chloe wrote a post about a cute little 1st grade student that proposed to her at school  and how sweet it was.  Adam jokingly messaged her and asked if she would marry him.  That too was a sweet gesture and broke the ice.  They met up for dinner and the rest is history.

Sun Flowers were a theme through out the day and brightened your step as you walked through the venue.  You will see Chloe reading a letter from her true love.  But that is not the only one.  Adam wrote a letter also to his mother and his mother-in-law.  Happy tears were everywhere.  He is a keeper. Chloe and Adam put together a brilliantly planned choreographed 1st dance that wowed the crowd.  Chloe’s sister reworded “Dear Future Husband” by Meghan Trainer.  She renamed it “Dear Chloe’s Husband” with a story about Chloe and Adam that knocked our socks off.  The cake topper is a replica of the couple and their three 4-legged babies.   As the evening fell upon us and the mountain chill moved in, the guests danced with smiles and ate smores till the end of night.  The guest were gifted a Krispy Kreme doughnut as they left and a mob of glow sticks lead the way to the get-away-car.

We enjoyed every moment of this day and still talk about it.  Thank you for allowing Something Blue to photograph and be a part of your family.
