Ahhhhh wedding season.  It is upon us again.  So I am going to try to hurry and wrap up our last wedding season.

This gem of a wedding is the love story of Pennie and Michael.  The setting is the beautiful Gallery of Dove Mountain, hosted by Reflections at the Buttes – http://www.reflectionsatthebuttes.com/ It was a beautiful day, relaxed and jam packed with fun.  The colors were Pink, Black with touches of white.

If you would like to see some video of the day, please visit Beyond Video for the trailer. It is always great to have both video and still photos to remember your wedding day.  Beyond Video: http://vimeo.com/78848569

The yummy cake and grooms cake was the creation of: Sweet Creations.http://www.sweetcreations-az.com/

Focus on Flowers took care of the beautiful blooms.  Pennie hung a photo of her dad from her bouquet since heaven was such a long distance to travel.  But he was by her side the entire day.

We love to see the men add their touches on the wedding day.  The groomsmen gifts were their favorite team jersey.  He also incorporated his Hawaiian heritage by wearing a wedding Lei.

Pennie and Michael chose to do a first look to get much of their photos completed prior to the ceremony.  I love this idea as it allows the couple to spend more time together on this monumental day.

This was a very sweet special moment of the day.  Pennie had a photo of her grandparents inside of a heart locket.  I believe the
photo locket was given to Pennies grandmother by Pennies grandfather.  Pennies grandfather had passed away.  When we did the grandparent photos with the couple, Pennie asked Grandma if she recognized what she had on.  At first Grandma did not, but then she
was happily surprised.  As she began to walk away, she reached back and touched the locket.  It just melted your heart.

Three generations of wedding rings.  Sigh…. such a great memory

The ceremony was at the Sports Club part of the Gallery.  I really love this area.  I feel like it is so open and scenic.  If you love the outdoors, this is the way to go.  Minimal decorations needed as you are surrounded by our gorgeous desert and endless skies.

Congratulations Pennie and Michael.  We are blessed to have spent this beautiful day with you and your family.
