Erica and Ken were wed at the beautiful Reflections at the Buttes this year. Their love story began just a short 9 years ago.  Erica was a bridesmaid in another wedding we photographed, so it was also great to see previous clients and she knew what we were about.

Reflections at the Buttes has done some renovations and as you will see the grounds are beautiful. We love to utilize every nook and cranny of every venue.

Kens boutonniere was a sweet pea flower, for the simple reason that Erica is his Sweet pea and that’s he calls her. I just love those kinds of details.  In Full Bloom Florist made the beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements.

Erica’s – “Something Blue” was so sweet, special and unique.  She hand sewed her wedding date with blue thread into the inside of her dress.

I wanted to insert this cute picture of the girls in the Mini Mouse ears.  If I remember correctly, Disneyland was their place for the bachelorette party…….Why yes thank you, Best place on earth!!!!

On to the ceremony.  The minister took the rings and had them passed around to each of the guest during his opening message.  Each guest held them in hopes that their love and prayers would be passed on to the happy couple.  You can see each set of parents looking at the rings.

I loved the details of the reception, continuing with the purple and green theme. Tables were lined with purple linen and green napkins. Each guest was given a take home gift of individual smores: Including matches, candle and the yummy makings of the smore. Sign in book was a desert tree that guests added their thumbprints too.

This day was amazing and I am sure Ken and Erica’s dreams were fullfilled.  Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your Sweet Pea Wedding.  I leave you with some cute ideas by Erica for Thank you cards.
