Pride Month

This month is Pride month and we would love to share the story of this beautiful couple that was married at The Buttes at Reflections.  Something Blue loves all couples who are MADLY in love; gay, same sex, straight or other.  We love them all.  Love is Love.  When you find your one, your ride or die, your human then life is full and we want to capture it on film.  How do you want to remember your day?  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Keeping it Traditional

Ajai and Amber gave us all the feels of love on their wedding day.  “Two beautiful and strong Queens”; as Ajai’s mom likes to say.  They chose the exquisite garden and mountain setting of The Buttes at Reflections for their wedding.  The grounds at The Buttes at Reflections was a robust and lush setting up against Pusche Ridge Mountain. Love championed this day and Something Blue was honored to be a part of such a precious bond.  Their wedding party was upbeat and full of laughter all day.  Ajai wore a beautiful white wedding gown adorned with a streaming long veil.  While Amber had on a sharp pant suit that had a layer of material on the slacks that gave off a flowing romance vibe.

Even though they themselves are not traditional, they chose the tradition of not seeing each other before the wedding.  Both the ladies were nervous and excited to surprise the other as they met at the gazebo.  Ajai Dad walked her down the isle, while  Amber’s mom walked with her.   Tears rolled down our faces as they met and became one at the altar.  Family and guests sat in their seats with smiles ear to ear.

Their first dance as Wives was full of emotion and love.  Embracing one another, you could not deny the true love between these two souls.  The lights, the mood, the moment is one they will never forget.  Their smiles says it all.  When you know you know and these two ladies were made for each other.  After a little wardrobe change we ended the celebration  with a fun photo opp with sparklers spelling “Love”.  Guest danced their hearts out in celebration.  Thank you Ajai and Amber for letting us peek into your lives and celebrate your love.
