Agua Linda Farms is as charming as it gets. Its a vision of primroses and hollyhocks dreams. Agua Linda Farms is a privately owned, 63 acre farm in Southern Arizona with rich history. Its really not that far from Tucson with only a 30 minute drive. Agua Linda Farms has a magical blend of rustic elegance with exquisite charm. The grounds come alive in May with green lawns, roses, hollyhocks, iris’, primroses and daffodils. Each taking their turn in painting the landscape.
The Farms history is truly interesting. the Ronstadt family in 1940 built this quaint adobe hacienda with red tile roof with towering mesquite trees through out the property. Rumor has it that Poncho Villa may have napped beneath one of those very trees. In 1950 the ranch was bought by a Hollywood producer by the name of Arthur Loew, Jr. He had visitors such as Elizabeth Taylor, John Wayne, Robert Wagoner and Gene Kelly, to name a few! They even have photos of some of these guests lining the halls.
Something Blue has visited this venue many times and have photographed a couple private people there. However, every time we get an inquiry to photograph a wedding, we are always booked. This saddens us greatly and hope that you call us about your wedding at Agua Linda farms. Our creative juices have been working over time and we feel deprived that we have not had a wedding at such an amazing venue. It is an Anne of Green Gables setting. If you know this reference then you are a kindred spirit.
