About The Buttes at Reflections
Tucson is filled with many beautiful locations to have your wedding, and The Buttes at Reflections is one of those premier wedding and event venues. If you are getting married then this venue needs to be on top of your list to stop by. Veiws of Pusche Ridge Mountain and green garden style grounds are on the property. The men have a man cave to get ready in with a pool table. Late at night the pool table makes for some fun James Dean style photos. The ladies powder room is Victorian style with beautiful furnishing. You will fall in love with this venue and we highly recommend it. We have a gallery on line that is dedicated to The Buttes at Reflections. Here is the link: Reflections.
The wedding we are featuring today is Victoria and and David. This lovely couple and their wedding party was so much fun and full of playfulness. Victoria’s vision was a soft pinks with gold accents, greenery everywhere and accents of romance and glam.
Florist and designer of bouquets, centerpieces, champagne wall and so much more was the talented Atelier De Fleur
The Buttes at Reflections is nestled against Pusche Ridge Mountain and the views are spectacular. When the sun is low the mountains can turn beautiful shades of red or a golden yellow. They have many features that you will love including mountain views, green grass, quaint gazebo, lush Tucson desert and sunset views.
The ceremony is the one reason we gather on the wedding day. Everything else would not matter if they do not say I Do. Victoria and David ended their ceremony with a Military Wedding Sword Ceremony called the Saber Arch which ends with a gentle swat on the back side of the bride for good luck. Rev. George Darmody officiated the ceremony for these two love birds.
Military Wedding Sword Ceremony
Our sweet friend and owner of Heather Van Houten Make up and Hair aka MVH was on hand to enhance Victoria and her bride tribes beauty. The girls were on point. They each chose their own gown style and color. Each lady was stunning and we just loved how they all just complimented each other. This group was light hearted and fun. Many had been friends since childhood and laughter could be heard all day.
Leaving the inside of the venue and walking to the ceremony location you will stroll through an always blooming colorful garden path. The flowers are changed seasonally and it is a nice shift from the desert setting. As you end the path your eyes will be lifted to the monumental presence of Pusche Ridge Mountain-scape in front of you. The ceremony lawn is always green. Something Blue uses every square inch of this venue to create one of a kind wedding photos for you to cherish a lifetime.
Do not forget to have fun on your wedding day. Yes, we take formal photos as it is required. But we absolutely adore the off the cuff – rough around the edges kind of photos. If this is something you want, be sure to express this to your photographer. Everyone has their own wishes and desires as to how their photos turn out. Some of you are more serious, romantic, silly, classic, off beat or fun. What ever your vision we would love to create it.
Creating your Vision
You can tailor fit the decor of the reception to fit your dreams. The staff at Reflections set up and break down the whole wedding from beginning to end. Therefore, you will have nothing to worry about on the wedding day. Reflections takes the the pressure off your shoulders and allows you to enjoy every moment of your wedding or party.
David and Victoria chose a subtle pallet of subtle pinks and gold accents carried on into the reception. This lovely floral masterpiece was created by Atelier De Fleur The food is fa-nominal and your guests will be talking about your day for years to come. Their in house DJ knows how to get the party rocking. We can not say enough good things about their jammin rockin style.
Its all about the Details
Victoria and Atelier De Fluer had an amazing vision, thus they engineered this glorious campaign wall. Wow. What a statement piece. The green wall was lined with campaign flutes and filled with bubbly. The upper edge was adorned with plant life and florals. Each campaign flute had a tag that directed the guests to their assigned seats.
Icing on the Cake
Cake cutting is one of those traditions that we never tire of. We do enjoy a good cake smash in the face, but many choose to go the polite route. This beauty of a cake was created by Village Bake House. And oh how delicious it was. Every cake that Village Bake House creates is unique and personally designed by their in-house experts.
